My mom taught me the neatest things when I was growing up. We sat together and did projects regularly. From basket weaving to whittling, we did it all together. I really thought that this was a part of everyone’s at home activities, but I was sorely mistaken.
These types of craft projects to create primitive home décor are not as prevalent as I thought at all. People tend to go for the newest and the most modern, but there is something to that old world, classic charm that still appeals to me.
