Wow, big surprise Bill Maher hate Hillary Clinton. Congrats to the OFB for getting yet another misogynistic jackass on board the Obamatrain.
how wonderful
Who really shot J.R. She probably dreamt the experience and confused it with reality.
Bill Maher never dissapoints. Great bit.
I would agree with one caviat... As long as his writers are not on strike. I love Bill, but wow, those shows were hard to watch. Not like the brilliant Steven Colbert who I believe was better without writers
Bill Clinton has a minor variation on the headline, "Get Erected Or Lie trying"
Amidst the reverie the candidates are distracted from the real issues.
Sign on the desk of a Hillary staffer:
IT'S THE HEALTH CARE PREMIUMS, STUPID.
Oh, man, the lying thing hurts, Hillary. I was so excited about your candidacy, now I wish I'd kept my mouth shut... I mean I wish YOU'D kept YOUR mouth shut.

Bill you are really losing your mojo. You seem stiff and uncertain and especially sophomoric when you try to approach the race issue like you are so much cooler than White America ... if you are it isn't coming across. I think you have had several recent guests who just can't relate to the unfortunate approach you have taken to this election (or more specifically your crush on Obama and fear of Hillary) -- namely T. Smiley, B. Frank ... Even with the awkwardness of those episodes they were better than watching the likes of you and Andrew Sullivan, PJ Orourke et. al. snicker foolishly at HRC like she is the teacher you like to talk about behind her back -- because you are so threatened by her I imagine. You need to step back man and get a grip.
First of all Bill said months ago that he doesn't mind pulling his lever for a woman.
He has also reiterated that Hillary Clinton is a respectable person and there is absolutely nothing hateable about her, and that anyone who claimed to hate her only hated themselves.
The fact is, campaigns are very telling things, especially as to ones true colors, and Bill just like a growing number of Americans has seen her tactics for what they are. While on the flipside we have a guy who has taken the high road time and time again and who has led the most civil campaign I've ever witnessed.
Andrew Sullivan is threatened by Senator Clinton? I don't see it.
The sad note in all of this is that most Democrats really, really wanted this to be a great, historical contest, but instead Clinton has turned it into some bizarre caricature of herself with these stupid lies and the denials that they are - most of us recall her husband denying he had sexual relations with that woman, and the echoes call up that failed bullshit, which stands out as one of the low points in modern presidential politics.
The context in which Clinton's Bosnia trip took place - NYT 040108, link below:
(Clinton's party) flew in a C-17 cargo plane from Germany to Bosnia precisely because it was capable of steep descents and ascents into and out of areas of conflict.
We were issued flak jackets on the plane before landing in Tuzla and were told the tarmac ceremony might be canceled or curtailed due to sniper fire from the surrounding hillsides.
The first lady and Chelsea Clinton were moved to the armored cockpit for the landing.
Armored vehicles were placed around the tarmac, and Apache helicopters hovered overhead.
The planned welcoming ceremony was shortened, (Ejup Ganic, acting President of Bosnia at the time) said, but it still lasted a bit longer than expected because a nongovernment group brought along a little girl to sing to the first lady.
Later, Mrs. Clinton flew from Tuzla to two military outposts by helicopter, escorted by Apache gunships...
Still..........that doesn't account for the fact that the way she narated them (over and over again) as if they were more than there really is, with the ducking and all (and its in her prepared speech).
Even if it's not an outright lie, it sure is a lot of bull, just like GWB's distorting Intelligence report about Iraqis non-existent WMD.
Will you be able to trust her the next time the US is faced with such a situation?
As First Lady, security precautions for travel in a conflict zone are SOP, just as for Sec. of State or even members of congress. She wouldn't have been allowed to go there if the menace was threat level orange or above. What's your point?

THE WAR IN IRAQ IS HAVING SERIOUS NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON OUR ECONOMY and those who voted for the war (i.e. hillary) should be to blame, in part, for the state of the US economy.
Look how the WAR IN IRAQ is affecting the US economy...
$3,000,000,000 3 billion dollars PER WEEK! That is the amount America is paying for the Iraq War PER WEEK, money that should have been used here, at home.
Add to this:
Interest. We are financing the war with borrowed money (e.g. treasuries) that carries interest; so in actuality, the war is costing the United States MORE THAN 3 billion dollars PER WEEK.
Higher oil and energy prices. Instability in Iraq is adding roughly 30 dollars per barrel as a premium.
High utility bills. Due to high oil prices, demand shifts to other sources of energy - gas, coal, etc. - and greater demand will raise the equilibrium price of all sources of energy
Our dollar is weak and getting weaker. Since we have a trade deficit and is growing in large part to the rising cost of imported oil, the value of goods and services we import exceeds the value of goods we export. Everything we buy that's made abroad will cost more, Ceteris Peribus, because the dollar is weak.
Lastly, how do you think the world views our country since the argument was made for war? The evidence was weak and circumstantial, yet we rushed into war with Iraq thanks to hillary"s authorization.
THE CLINTON INSURGENCY IS IN FULL SWING
WHAT ARE WE LOYAL DEMS PREPARED TO DO?
Fueling the current Clinton Insurgency against Obama AND the entire DEM party is the Clintons" belief THEY were robbed of this nomination.
This belief provides them internal psychic comfort and external rationalization for ANY and EVERY behavior we have seen and will continue to see RIGHT THROUGH 2012.
Only the naive think this ends at the Convention. After losing there, the Clinton Insurgency goes underground to further expand their support of McCain's candidacy. If unsuccessful, it moves to the Senate where Hillary as Lieberman REDUX, will practically caucus with McCain to deny President Obama any success.
Between Super Tuesdays Obama won 11 straight states; and the Campaign to Elect Hillary morphed into the Campaign to Defeat Obama via this new political Insurgency we are witnessing daily.
Indeed, Hillary's campaign is an undeclared death-struggle to deny Obama not the nomination (she knows that's already lost), but the Presidency and any media coverage that would aid him.
The goal is no longer winning. Victory is in prolonging the battle and denying the favorite his expected result, while spoiling it so that ultimate victory is worth less each day the Insurgency continues. This new Clinton campaign can only be by design of our Chief Democratic Architect, former President Bill Clinton, himself.
We all know this in our hearts. The only question facing loyal DEMS, to paraphrase Sean Connery from "The Untouchables": What are WE prepared to do?
This was terrific. Bill Maher continues to provide the funniest election jokes.
This clip left out the best part when he showed the McCain Fireside Wii game.
To those Hillary fans, this is clearly a joke. When he cracks on Obama, those are equally funny.
Why can't she do both?
Bill you have lost your edge. You are just not funny anymore.
What Are you Talking About? Hes Funny!
Amber, but I guess you just found Tina Fey and SNL skits about bumbling President Obama calling Hillary for answers just hilarious.
SNL skits are the fantasy of one right-wing writer.
Bill Maher told the truth. No one believes people honestly remember things that never happened.
This is one of the reasons The Clintons are polarizing.
She had the highest negatives on the planet before this campaign started, not because she is a woman ....because she is a Clinton and they strongarm people and lie about it like the NV lawsuits they claimed to have nothing to do with, the threats to sue TX Dem Party for their rules, and her shameful flip-flop on FL/MI with its implied lawsuits...
It is what it is and they are who they are. They are not going to ever change.
Because of THEIR BAD BEHAVIOR FOR YEARS, many people who know them don't like them. She has threatened and been vindictive with Bill's ex-girlfriends going back 20+ years to Arkansas, some of whom say she is an enabler of a sexual predator. Is Obama's campaign putting that out? No!!!
Will Karl Rove....YES!!!!
So get over it. It's not Obama's fault that she entered the race with 47% negatives.
The Clintons decided they couldn't win without raising his negatives and their only regret is that they didn't start sooner and more aggressive before Bill Sheehan's drug pusher conf call with the media in IOWA.
First they tried to say he was an empty suit. They should have STARTED with him being the Black candidate...
