My daughter has quite an adventurous spirit and it’s impossible to keep track of her sometimes. She’s always trekking off into the wilderness for a hike here or a camp-out there. While I was shopping for my car-GPS I came across this Garmin Explorist. It’s the perfect gift for her and it was ultra-affordable.
I was able to give my daughter something incredibly useful, which is rare. I also got some peace of mind. Now I know when she’s out there in the woods or on the side of some mountain she can find her way back to civilization. All this for less than $170.
Everyone I know keeps talking about these GPS things. In fact, some people even claim to have them in their cell phones! As someone who travels a lot and is frequently lost I thought it might be wise to finally pick one of these up for myself. I was right! Since I got this I haven’t had to stop and ask directions at shady gas stations or seedy stores. It’s just me and the Garmin Nuvi 200 all the way to my destination.
The price really surprised me. I guess I haven’t really looked at these in a couple of years and unit like this would have cost close to a thousand bucks or more when I first checked them out. It’s nice to see technology becoming affordable. When newer stuff is cost prohibitive I tend to hold off.
I thought it might be wise to pick one of these up for my daughter since she may be using it in unpredictable, sometimes questionable conditions. The Magellan Explorist Carrying Case provides a nice, easy to use and durable place to keep the GPS when out and about. There’s no need to worry about where to put it since she can keep it right on hand without discomfort or inconvenience.
Once again the price blew me away, I’ve seen cell phone cases half this size sell for twice as much. It’s a great bargain and I even have enough to pick up another GPS for my wife next month. With all the road work around our home it’s easy for anyone to get lost.
